How's your Chinese new year going ? Having fun or getting bored already? I was browsing through facebook just now and from what I noticed, pastor did said it right during the Cny church service. What for we celebrate new year if everyone is just looking forward to the 15 days or less ? Some status I see is "back to routine life after four or five days of celebration". Aren't you suppose to say "new year new routine and better life"? To me it sounds so harsh to go back to the routine life. Agreed with me ?
It was kinda funny when I saw a person filled with loads of happy greetings and after the celebration ends, he turned back into the usual style and started scolding people. So much the pretending for the sake of new year.
New year is always about new. You change new clothes, new socks, new shoes. But what's the use when you don't change your bad attitude, right ? Therefore, changing things other than ourselfs in order to live better is just doesn't makes us comply with the word "new" because all of these are just UN-living things. Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking you to change yourself, just change your bad habits and bad personality will be good. Well, to those who remains "i am for who I am and I'm not changing for anyone", I won't make a further comment cause you're the one who decides the what of you.
From the pastor's advice, be a 'new' person in this coming new year.
Renew your words of language. Don't always talk rude to people, it's disrespectful. You may have some bad times, I know. All of us do have that too. But remain calm and try your best not to talk rude cause that could lead to a start of an argument which you may not keep back. Once the words gets out of your mouth, you can never chase them back.
Adopt a new attitude. This is important when it comes to dealing with other people. You might not want to piss anyone off especially to those to decides your income right ? It also applies to those who are in the higher management. If you have a bad attitude, nobody will want to work under your department. Employees will certainly be afraid of you. For those who are not in the higher management, you might just ended up being cut away from the company and don't say that I didn't warn you ya.
Having a good relationship is a good thing. And for this, I would like to voice out not only in love relationship with your boyfriend, husband or fiance vice versa. It means to the people around you. Everyone needs a companion, everyone needs a friend. You may not need loads of them but at least you need a few. It's important cause sometimes your family might not able to be there when you need them. Get to know more people, share your interests among them. You will need plenty of help from them in the future. And an advice for this, don't always put a number (money) into relationships, it will not do better but worse.
Finally one more stuff to learn in this brand new year is don't send worries to your love ones especially parents. I know some of you always get missed calls from your parents and didn't bother to make a return call. It is highly important that you do so if they weren't any emergencies. However, they are still your parents and you need to do so. Don't only apply this to your girlfriends or boyfriends ya.
To sum this up, I'm wishing you all a prosperous Chinese New year and don't forget to "renew" yourself ya~~
